Scan with LiDAR if you have it, import a plan photo if you already have a drawing, or place rooms yourself. Add doors and windows before you judge the 3D view.
Open the floor plan in 3D
Walk through the model, check furniture scale, and record a video tour if you need a second opinion. Edit back in 2D when a wall should move.
